We all know that song Stairway to Heaven, like who doesn’t? If you are somewhere around my age I am pretty sure you had your father ( or mother) rocking out to Led Zepplin. If that didn’t happen please click on this to hear this amazing yet sad song.
Well… I found it! I actually got to walk up the stairs to heaven.

View of the stairs from far away
I know, I know. It has been a while since I have not written on my blog. Sorry! I was a bit busy and had no motivation, oops. I am currently in the countryside of France, so I finally have something interesting to write about.
You might be asking, there is no real stairway to heaven! I found them here in France! More or less it is the sky but heaven is in the sky, so that counts ok.
Where is the stairway located?

Up close and personal
It is Blois a city that is next to the Loire River (the longest river in France) known for having most of the castles next to it.
Why were the stairs painted like that?
It is part of a tribute to an American artist named Geoffrey Hendricks, who used to paint those types of paintings in public areas.
It was done by Italian artist, Caterina Gualco in collaboration with la Foundation du doute. They called it More Than 100 Skies.
How did it look before?

It was a lovely stairway but now it is mesmerizing.
If you are in France for your summer vacation or you might happen to be living in France! Go check it out and take pictures because It will not last long. The exposition is up until November 5th,2017 so there is still time! If you do so tweet me your photos @imnatavu.
Bisous,
