Sunday came and everyone was so excited to go to the happiest place on earth.I know I was.
We took the metro to the RER and in the metro, there was a man who was playing Pokemon yellow on a Nintendo Gameboy color, I was so amazed since that nowadays is a rare sight. Anyways, We took the RER from Paris to the last and final stop, Disneyland, which lasted for about 45 mins.We arrived and I became a little kid, I was so happy to go to Disneyland after a long time and going with friends too.The first ride we went on was Autopia and (Natalia+Natalia=)Nat² beat the croissants even though they were ahead in the start.
After that, we went on Indiana Jones, a 70-minute wait for a ride from hell. First, I must say I DO NOT like roller coasters. I especially hate loops, I was told that there wasn’t any. I got on the ride, I turned to the right and I saw a loop, I instantly died. Also, I was expecting it to start slow but NO that thing was like WHOOSH. It started fast and I was feeling that sensation in my gut from how fast it was. Then the “drops” and the loop, that ride made me slide down my chair. I literally felt I was going to die. I was screaming at the top of my lungs and holding for my dear life. After we ate at Disneyland, and honestly you are just paying for the ambiance, not the quality. Save your money and sneak in a sandwich or something. While waiting for a croissant, Cedric, and chicken nugget, Nat to get out from Aerosmith. Me and other Croissant’s Laurene and Lovina, witness the imperial march all the stormtroopers walking in unison and Darth Vader was in the middle, amazing. I only followed them half way, because I did not want to get lost.
After we were reunited we headed out to Ratatouille, because before the ride broke down and the group was separated. So, the sign said 30 min wait. What they actually mean is a 30-minute wait outside, and once you get into the door you wait another 30mins, so ONE HOUR. We decided to leave in order to catch the Disney Parade at 17hrs (5pm) in Mainstreet. I do not remember watching it when I was younger, so it felt or maybe it was the first time I saw the parade. It was so nice, but at times it was hard to see in the ocean of people that are way taller than you that also put their phone over their head to record. After that Nat² hit up the souvenir shop, we didn’t find much.Just over priced objects, no surprise. So, I just bought postcards since nothing really interested me, except a Disneyland Paris sweater but none were cute.): By that time, we were both beat and wanted to leave. We did not leave but instead took a nap in order to see the Disney’s light show at 21:30(9:30 pm). So we napped at 7 then we went to go eat at Casey’s Corner, where they serve the “world’s famous hot dogs”.They might be famous, but not good. Then while waiting for the parade, we all were playing charades in public because needed something to pass the 30mins. The show started and it was amazing there were songs both in English and French. Disneyland was worth it, being there from when it opens until it closed.
