Hi! I’m Natalia or on here Nat.
I am currently in France, where my life has been a cliché. Going to the boulangerie(bakery) to get a baguette for a euro, buying cheap yet good wine, getting romanced by strangers on the streets and even proposed to. France is exactly how people describe it. It is breathtaking, each and every building is different not every single one looks the same. Each region is different, I have visited the south and north of France, and they are not the same. Food varies from region to region. Not as hard to make, as people think. It is quite simple. The french are very patriotic and judgemental. Due to their patriotism, some are still not open to foreigners since they are not “french” even if they are born here, they are not french by blood. They also care a lot about what others think of them and then judge others by appearance without getting to know them first. I have had several negative encounters due to that, I do not fit in at all, its a fact. Thus, I get stared at hard, they make it very obvious they are looking and at times I hear “ugh” or “ew”. Even though, I have experienced that I still love France.
